This series of pictures was taken at a charity Star Tours Unlimited star party for
the public, courtesy of Jon the Star Crusader and his daughter Stepheney. This event
occured in the mountains in Southern California, away from city smog and light pollution.
The computerized sixteen-inch telescope was used in video-camera mode, so that many people
could watch the views on television at the same time. Wonderful visual views were
being obtained through the eyepiece of the twenty-eight-inch telescope.
Everyone was delighted with the results!
The two images on the bottom were provided courtesy of
equatorialplatforms.com, where the 28" telescopes were made.
